A board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Jacang began her medical journey at the University of the East/ Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center. She did a rotating internship at Kuakini Hospital, Honolulu, Hawaii, 1st year Pediatric residency at New York Polyclinic Hospital and 2nd year residency at St Cristopher’s hospital for Children in Philadelphia. She had a fellowship in Pediatric Pharmacology at University of Oklahoma Medical Center , Oklahoma City.
Dr. Jacang is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, she has been actively involved in several esteemed organizations including the Philippine Medical Association of Hawaii ( one of the founding members and a past president), the American Academy of Pediatrics, Hawaii Chapter, Hawaii Board of Health, and the Aloha and Ohana Medical Missions (Board of Directors).
Currently affiliated with Kapiolani Medical Center, Dr. Jacang extends her expertise beyond Hawaii by participating in medical missions in the Philippines, providing essential healthcare services to underserved communities. Her dedication to both local and international pediatric care reflects her lifelong commitment to improving children's health worldwide.
